Do any teeth whitening methods actually work?

Question by liverandomly: Do any teeth whitening methods actually work? I don't want to go to the dentist, or spend wayy too much money. I'm a teen, and just want my teeth a little bit whiter, I have good oral Hygiene and have tried many different toothpastes with no success. Do strips work? Any tips? Comments?
